Senior Associate Peter Baiocco recently placed Michael King to head up APAC Sales and Field Ops for Citrix Systems to support the recent acquisition of Xensource. Michael King, former VP GM APAC at Borland Software, will lead the expansion of Xensource in the APAC region for Citrix's new Virtualization Server Business Unit which is lead by Xensource CEO, Peter Levine.
In his new role, Michael will oversee growth of the company's sales and channel organizations for the APAC region to support the new build out for the Xen product. Prior to his long career at Borland Software, Michael served in various roles at Sterling Commerce and Gartner. Michael will be based in Citrix's Singapore office.

Citrix Systems Appoints Director of Inside Sales to support recent acquisition of Xensource
Ryan Thomas, Former Scriptlogic VP, Will lead the expansion of inside sales for Citrix’s new Virtualization Server Business Unit which will be lead by Xensource CEO, Peter Levine.
Executive Search firm Daversa Partners have recruited Ryan Thomas as the new director of inside sales at Citrix Systems. In his new role, Thomas will oversee growth of the company’s inside sales and channel organizations for the Americas region to support the new sales build out supporting the Xen product line. Ryan has a vast amount of experience in inside sales playing a crucial role at Seagate Software and Veritas based in Florida.
