Axiant, LLC, an IT service provider that enables consumer finance creditors and debt purchasers to optimize their legal collections efforts, announced that Jonathan Donahue joined the firm as EVP Strategic Client Groups. Jonathan comes to Axiant from GE Money where he has been serving as VP of Business Development since 2002. From 1998-2002, Jonathan held additional roles in GE Capital Markets Services. Prior to this role, from 1990-1995, Jonathan held additional financial roles in GE. He joined GE in the Financial Management Program and holds his Six Sigma Master Black Belt. From 1995-1997, Jonathan was Director of Corporate Finance, Marketing and Underwriting at NationsCredit. Jonathan holds a BA in Economics and Finance from Rutgers College and an MBA from Columbia Business School.

Axiant, the national leader in legal collections of consumer debt, today announced Scott Barton as CEO. Most recently, Barton served as senior vice president of risk operations for Capital One, where he developed a strategy for, and lead collections, recoveries, and fraud groups. His prior roles with Capital One include vice president of horizontal operations, where he was responsible for supply chain management, procurement, call center support, Asia operations, and decision support services groups. He also held the titles of vice president of fraud and underwriting operations, and vice president of partnership finance, where he founded and led de novo partnership group to over $2 billion in assets with full P&L accountability.
